Local:

When we walk out of our house we enter the mission field. Our people are trained that they are on a mission every day. We come in contact with people every day that need a God-encounter. We encourage our people to recognize the “wind of God” and set their sail so that they will not miss what He is up to. The great commission is – “ Go [literally: as you go] into all the world . . . “ Two-thirds of God’s name is Go!

We have targeted several different areas locally for Holy Spirit empowered ministry with success. We will be targeting more in the future. Jesus said mission work should start locally, then work outward [Acts 1:8].

Jesus gave the pattern for mission work when He said in Acts 1:8 - "You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you. And you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth."

Jerusalem = Our immediate sphere of influence [our family, friends, neighbors, classmates, co-workers and our city]. If we are not faithful witnesses here how can we expect to succeed at the next place?

Judea = Our extended areas of influence. If we are not willing to step out into areas we are familiar with yet not totally comfortable with how can we go to the next area of need?

Samaria = Those areas we do not feel led to evangelize or that we are afraid to go into because it is beyond our comfort zone. We will never leave our culture and go to an unknown one if we refuse to go to the unlovely, unfriendly, unclean and un-welcoming.

The uttermost parts of the earth = Just that. The rest of the planet.

Foreign:

Our goal is to send our people to the uttermost parts of the earth.

We just commissioned our first foreign missionaries on Sunday, February 18, 2007. For the sake of their safety we will keep their identity hidden. These revolutionaries are believing God that the entire nation they are in will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord. They believe the Lord meant what He said when He told us to disciple nations [Matthew 28:19].

We have also sent support to a friend [Moses Choudary] in India that oversees several churches and a network of many churches. He also has two bible schools and several orphanages.

Financial Support:

As a ministry we have set a goal of giving 50% of our income to missions and ministries. In 2006 we gave 35% of our income to different ministers and ministries. We have a responsibility to model proper stewardship of the financial resources God entrusts us with so we tithe [give 10% of the gross], and give offerings [amount above the tithe] so that the windows of heaven will remain open over us, and our areas of responsibility.
