Testimonies build faith and create an atmosphere for the miraculous to happen.

The Hebrew [Old Testmament] root word for "testimony" means to duplicate, or to do it again. Revelation 19:10 says, "The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Prophecy both reveals and creates the future.

 

When we testify of what we have seen, heard, and / or experienced the Lord do, we are actually prohesying that He will do it again. God is no respector persons, and His heart is to perform His word.
