Please take a moment to fill out the Child Dedication form. At Bethel Baptist Church, East, we do not baptize infants; we dedicate them. Dedication is a simple ceremony where the parents or guardians bring the baby/child before the congregation. The parent(s) dedicate themselves to raise the child in such a way that when he or she becomes older, they will decide for themselves to follow Christ. The Pastor will encourage the parents to raise the child in a Godly home, and the baby’s village to support the parents in doing so. Then, the Pastor leads the congregation in a prayer of dedication. Child Dedication ceremonies will be held publicly on the 4th Sunday during our 10AM Worship Service. Any request outside of that, please note on the form below.
